Our Story

From Cottage to Compound

Eight decades of beach life, one remarkable property, and a new chapter for the Gulf Coast.

The Heart of It All
The spirit of the original single-story inn lives on in every reclaimed plank and antique — now surrounded by space for your whole crew.
Panama City Beach Bed & Breakfast started as a love letter to a slower, more personal kind of beach life. The 1946 cottage had a presence — a combination of vintage character, Southern hospitality, and the unhurried rhythms of Gulf Coast living that couldn’t be replicated anywhere else. The renovation wasn’t about replacing that feeling. It was about giving it more room to breathe. More space for families to gather without being on top of each other. More places to linger — a rooftop bar at sunset, a card table surrounded by antiques, a pool deck that faces the water. The Card Room in the Original Cottage is filled with reclaimed wood tied to the property’s history. The Main House was designed with nods to an old coastal hotel. Every detail was chosen with intention — and with the belief that the best places aren’t built from scratch, they’re built from memory. Available in 2027 STAY TUNED!
A History

The Story of PCB B&B

The Original Cottage

Built as a classic beach retreat in post-war Panama City Beach, the original cottage became a beloved gathering spot. Its character — sun porches, a claw-foot tub, magnolia gardens — was inseparable from the beach life of the era. The living room featured (and still features) reclaimed wood from an old Tuscaloosa, AL hotel smoking room that was recovered after a fire at the hotel.

PCB'S Only B&B

Under Bill and Penny's care, the property became a celebrated Bed & Breakfast, with named rooms, a vintage Airstream, a tiny house, and a front porch culture that drew guests (and rave reviews) from across the country.

The Renovation Begins

With a bold vision for the property's next chapter, a complete renovation was launched — expanding from a cozy single-story B&B to a full private compound capable of hosting large gatherings, family reunions, corporate retreats, and milestone celebrations.

A Compound will be Born

Three buildings — the original single-story beach cottage, the main house, and the carriage house — now stand together around a central pool. The spirit of the original single-story inn lives on in every reclaimed plank and antique, now surrounded by modern amenities and ready to host up to 34 guests. Which building will YOU stay in?
